Golf Course
The Breda Golf Course is located on the east end of town on 72 acres of fertile farmland. We pride ourselves on our irrigated course with HUGE receptive greens. It's a Par 35-9 hole course with 4 tee options. 2371 yards for the Women's and Junior tees, 2598 yards for the Senior tees, 2882 yards from the Men's tees, or really challenge yourself from our Championship tees (3155 yards). There is a large pond to navigate during the 1st 2 holes, wildflowers to avoid on #3, then out of bounds (corn or bean fields) threaten much of the rest of the journey. There are lots of rolling grass moguls and some sneaky elevation changes on the back of the course.
We have very strong golf leagues - Men's senior league plays on Wednesdays at 2:30 p.m. The regular Men's league (seniors are welcome here as well) plays at 5:00 - we have over 120 members in this league -- and the Women take their swings on Thursday evenings at 5:30 p.m. The Couples Tournaments are a big hit, packing the course on alternating Friday and Saturday nights.
